The clients who seek help from DeKalb Pro Bono are facing legal matters alone because they cannot afford to hire a lawyer. Among the people we are helping each day are survivors of intimate partner violence, tenants who are in dispute with their landlords, family members navigating the loss of loved ones, children involved in contested custody disputes, and people who are facing financial ruin.

There is a tremendous gap in services for people living in poverty. It is often very difficult for that population to gain access to legal representation and it is solely because they lack the means. The work of DeKalb Pro Bono relies on the support of its community to help us empower our clients with the legal support and assistance they deserve — and need to have — for their rights to be protected.

Donate today to make it possible for us to continue providing these vital services well into the future.
